This alignment was performed using Clustal W software (Thompson et al., 1994). Numbering of the amino acid residues relates to eSRS21. Red characters indicate residues that are conserved throughout all sequences. Grey characters indicate residues that are the same for 3/4 sequences. Asterisks indicate seven conserved cysteine residues. Dash represents a gap in the sequence introduced to maximise alignment; arrowhead indicates the signal sequence cleavage site.
