The plasma membrane is intensely labeled in all cells because of exposed surface area. Endocytosis is inhibited reversibly in latrunculin A and cytochalasin B, respectively, but no inhibition is seen in cells treated to disrupt microtubules (C). Scale bar: 25 µm.
