The cytoplasmic streaming observed in Klc and syd stage 9 mutant oocytes is analogous to wild type (see Fig. 2K-M). In Klc mutant oocytes, however, the streaming seems to be less vigorous, as the cytoplasmic movements in the most posterior region of the oocyte are reduced.
