Sciatic nerves were dissected from P11 Wnt1-Cre^–loxpRosa⁺ and Wnt1-Cre⁺loxpRosa⁺ pups, and immunohistochemically stained for ß-gal (green), the endothelial marker PECAM1 (blue), and the pericyte marker SMA (red). Although most cells in the endoneurial space were ß-gal⁺, both the PECAM1⁺ endothelial cells and the SMA⁺ pericytes consistently failed to co-label with ß-gal.
