The purity of the preparations was confirmed by expression of the PGC marker gene stella, and the somatic marker genes steel and Twist1. PGC-derived PCR products were sequenced and verified that these bands truly represented the expression of each FGFR. The illustration shows the potential FGF ligands that could activate each FGFR.
