Apoptosis was analysed by incubation of E10.5 and E12.5 wild-type (WT) and mutant (Mut) embryos with Lysotracker Red (red staining). Urogenital regions were then sectioned and incubated with anti-laminin antibody (green) and stained with DAPI (blue).
