Micrographs were taken 18 hours and 45 hours after the virus injection as indicated in the figure. The phase contrast micrograph and fluorescence micrograph after 18 hours depict the position of the injection site in the cortex and the dashed line indicates the cortico-striatal boundary. Note that cells spread further away from the injection site after 45 hours.
