Fig. 3A Supplemental Movie
-
The behavior of PGCs in a control slice. Tissue was dissected from an
E9.5 Oct4DPE:GFP+
embryo and filmed for 7.5 hours. The majority of PGCs (green) clear the midline
and move towards the genital ridges. See Fig. 3 for tracking and velocity data.
Fig. 3B Supplemental Movie
-
The behavior of PGCs in a slice treated with 1.6 mg/ml SDF1. Tissue was dissected from an E9.5
Oct4DPE:GFP+ embryo and
filmed for 7.5 hours. PGC movement is slowed and appears confused. See Fig. 3
for tracking and velocity data.
Fig. 4A Supplemental Movie
-
The behavior of PGCs near a BSA-coated bead. Tissue was dissected from
an E9.5 Oct4DPE:GFP+
embryo, a BSA-coated bead was placed into the aorta and the slice was filmed
for 11 hours. Most PGCs migrate away from the bead and towards the genital
ridges. See Fig. 4 for tracking data.
Fig. 4D Supplemental Movie
-
The behavior of PGCs near a bead coated with 50 mg/ml SDF1. Tissue was dissected from an E9.5
Oct4DPE:GFP+ embryo, an
SDF1-coated bead was placed into the aorta and the slice was filmed for 11
hours. Some PGCs appear unable to move away from the bead and exhibit short
twisted trajectories. See Fig. 4 for tracking data.
