• Movie1 - Movement of cells from the epiblast of a HH stage 4 chick embryo into the ventral midline of the forming neural tube. Cells in ‘area a’ (~200 mm anterior to Hensen’s node) and a more anterior region of epiblast (~400 mm anterior to Hensen’s node) are labelled with DiI and their movement imaged over a period of 9 hours
• Movie2 - Movement of cells from ‘area a’ and Hensen’s node of a HH stage 4 chick embryo into the midline of the embryo. Cells in ‘area a’, ~200 mm anterior to Hensen’s node are labelled with DiI (red) and cells in Hensen’s node are labelled with DiD (blue). The movement of labelled cells was imaged over a period of 4 hours.
