colonies established from foetal (A-C) and postnatal (D-F) EPCs were fixed and
immunostained with antibodies for GFP (green; all panels) and TH (red; A,D),
VIP (red; B,E) and NPY (red; C,F). Subsets of neurons expressing these markers
(arrows in all panels) were generated with similar efficiencies in both foetal
and postnatal colonies. Arrowhead in A points to a neurite-bearing TH+
cell.
