Two NS mitoses were clearly Hu+ (A'' shows magnified images of arrowed cell, two different confocal planes at 100x). S-dividing cells (A') were completely negative for Hu. (B) Quantification of the stage-dependent changes in the proportion of the pH3+ NS-dividing cells that were Hu+ demonstrates decreased anti-Hu reactivity with development (n=332 cells at E13, 267 cells at E14, 221 cells at E17, and 246 cells at P0).
