  Fig. S1. The GMC-1 of the RP2/sib lineage fails to divide in cycE mutants. Embryos of different ages were stained for Eve. Arrowhead indicates a GMC-1, large arrow indicates an RP2, small arrow indicates a sib. The cycE mutant used was cycE^AR95, a strong loss-of-function allele. The GMC-1 in cycE mutants fails to divide, instead it differentiates directly into an RP2 neuron.
