Shh-/- single mutant includes growth retardation, failure
of limb outgrowth, severe holoprosencephaly (white arrow) and a single
ventrally positioned eye. This phenotype is partially rescued in the
Shh-/-;Fkbp8-/- embryo (note rescue of
cyclopia and holoprosencephaly, white arrow). Other features, such as limb
outgrowth defects (arrowhead), are not rescued. Scale bar: 1 mm.
