Mitochondria are labeled with anti-ATP synthase (green), while the oocyte is marked by the accumulation of Cup protein (magenta). The fusome and cell membranes are labeled with anti-Hts (blue). By examining the stacks it is easier to appreciate the large difference between the number of mitochondria in wild type compared with Dhc64C^6-6/6-12 mutant oocytes, than in the projected still images in Fig. 4D and 4F. The Dhc64C^6-6/6-12 mutant movie is the same cysts as in Fig. 4F. Open arrowheads indicate oocyte mitochondria; closed arrowheads indicates Cup accumulation in the oocyte
