Fig. S1. Both rare and abundant intestine-expressed genes are identified by mRNA tagging. The distribution of signal intensities of the 1938 intestine-expressed genes is nearly the same as the expression levels for the rest of the genes in the genome, with only a slight bias toward higher expressed genes being enriched by mRNA tagging.
