In wild type, Fmi (A) appears as a zigzag pattern along the PD boundary, while the Arm distribution (B) is localized circumferentially in a honeycomb pattern. There is diffuse apical localization in some cells at this stage (top). In tsr mutant wings, Fmi showed a characteristic disrupted zigzag pattern (C), while the Arm distribution (D) is localized in a honeycomb pattern similar to wild type.
