HeLa cells transfected with either pEGFP alone (A-C) or pEGFP-lulu (D-F) were grown on glass coverslips, fixed, permeabilized and stained with phalloidin (red). pEGFP-Lulu localized to the plasma membrane and colocalized with increased phalloidin staining at the cell cortex.
