(C) RT-PCR analysis for dPSR from dPSR^FM1, yw control, or GMR-GAL4/UAS-dPSR third instar larval eye discs. Microarray analysis of this RNA on the Drosophila 2.0 chip (Affymetrix) also indicated that this message is not expressed in dPSR^FM1 discs (not shown).

  Fig. S2. TUNEL staining and number of Srp-hemoGFP-labeled hemocytes in wild-type and dPSR^FM1 embryos. A similar amount and pattern of apoptosis, as detected by TUNEL, and number of Srp-hemoGFP-labeled hemocytes, are observed in wild-type (A,B) and dPSR^FM1 (C,D) embryos.
