double labeled with Myosin heavy chain (MHC; green), or with Stripe (red).
Panels A,C,E,G show the somatic muscle pattern, whereas panels B,D,F,H show
the corresponding merge of MHC and Stripe labeling. Note the disruption of
muscle pattern (E,F) and the inhibition of germ band retraction (C,D) in
