Fig. S1. The effects of PAR1 MOs on ciliated cell development and MyoD. Four- to eight-cell embryos were injected, into the animal region, with PAR-1BX MO, PAR-1B MO and with β-gal RNA as a lineage tracer (light-blue staining). Injected embryos were cultured until stages 13-15, then subjected to whole-mount in situ hybridization with antisense probes to α-tubulin (A-C) or MyoD (D-F). Injection of PAR-1BX MO (B,E) or PAR-1B MO (C,F) reduced the number of ciliated cells, but did not significantly affect MyoD. (G) Quantification of the effects of PAR-1BX and PAR-1B MO on α-tubulin and MyoD. Numbers of analyzed embryos are shown above the bars.
