  Fig. S1. Expression of β-Gal and GFP driven by Dmel rho².² coincides spatially and temporally during D. melanogaster oogenesis. (A-G) Egg chambers of D. melanogaster transgenic flies carrying both the Dmel rho².²-β-Gal and Dmel rho².²-GFP reporter were stained with anti-β-Gal (magenta in A and D) and anti-GFP (green in B and E) antibodies. In almost all of the cells, the two reporters were expressed simultaneously, even at different developmental stages: stage 10B (A-C) and stage 12 (D-F). The right panels are merged images of the left and middle panels.
