  Fig. S1. Retinal expression of other T-box genes. (A,B) In situ hybridization showing Tbx5 expression in the dorsal retina (arrowheads) with sparse expression in GCL at E15.75. No differences in expression are seen between Eomes^+/flox (A) and Eomes^{Δflox/Δflox} (B). (C,D) Immunostaining showing Tbr1 expression in the peripheral (arrowheads) and middle regions of the retina. The intense staining in the fiber layer is non-specific staining of anti-Tbr1 antibody. When compared with Eomes^+/flox retinas (C), there appears to be a slight reduction in Tbr1 expression in Eomes^{Δflox/Δflox} retinas (D) although it is not clear if this is significant.
