expression in different mouse lines. (A,B) Non-radioactive in situ
hybridisation reveals that, typically, the Foxn1 promoter gives
rise to stronger transgene expression than the involucrin promoter. As an
example, representative mice of Foxn1::ephrinA1 (A) and ivl::ephrinA1 (B)
transgenic lines were hybridised to an ephrin A1 probe that covers the open
reading frame. (C,D) Transgenic Igfbp5
expression levels in two different mouse lines were addressed by
non-radioactive in situ hybridisation. Although transgene expression moderately
differs among these lines, both develop only hair shafts with a single column
