About the Cover
Cover: Two-cell stage wild-type and mutant Caenorhabditis elegans embryos. Cortical PAR-2 protein (green) and DNA (blue), or P-granules (green), microtubules (red) and DNA (blue), are shown. In both wild-type and spn-4 mutant embryos, the orientation of the mitotic spindle in the smaller posterior cell appears to direct the polarization of PAR-2 and P-granules. For details, see article by J.-E. Gomes, S. E. Encalada, K. A. Swan, C. A. Shelton, J. C. Carter and B. Bowerman pp. 4301-4314.
