About the Cover
Cover: Ventral view of a late stage Daphnia magna embryo. First legs (orange) lack prominent comb-like structures in the ventral branches found in other thoracic legs (purple, blue and green). This difference correlates with the lack of Distal-less and concomitant expression of Antennapedia in this position.
