About the Cover
Cover: Chaetognaths, also called arrow worms or larvaceans, constitute an enigmatic phylum. They are small transparent planctonic organisms whose eggs (pink) and sperm occupy a large part of the body cavity. Fertilized eggs and embryos have a single large germ granule (dark green), which segregates in a single blastomere (light green) precursor of the four primary germ cells. For further details, see article by D. Carré, C. Djediat and C. Sardet in this issue, 661-670
