Travelling Fellowships |
|
Development offers fellowships of up to US$5000/ £2500 to graduate students and post-docs wishing to make collaborative visits to other laboratories. These are designed to cover the cost of travel and other expenses, and there is no restriction on nationality. Applicants should be working in the field of developmental biology with the intention of visiting another laboratory. Each application is judged on the excellence of the candidate, and the importance and innovative quality of the work to be done. When putting your application together, please note the following: * Only one person per laboratory may apply for funding per funding round. * You cannot apply to Disease Models and Mechanisms, the Journal of Cell Science or The Journal of Experimental Biology at the same time as applying for a travelling fellowship from Development. * The date of travel must occur within 6 months of being awarded funding. * We do not provide funds to attend training courses or to purchase equipment * Incomplete applications will not be considered.
