      Fig. S1. Fas2 and Eve are still expressed in aCC and RP2 in grn mutants. (A-F) Anti-myc antibody was used to visualize aCC and RP2 neurons expressing UAS-tau-myc through RN2Gal4 in magenta (A-C,E). Eve protein expression (in magenta) was examined in stage 15 grn/+ (A) or grn/grn embryos (B) revealing that Eve expression remains unchanged (100% of the cells analysed) in a grn mutant background. Fas2 expression (in green) was also analysed in stage 15 grn/+ (C,D) or grn/grn embryos (E,F). Images showing Fas2 and myc in aCC and RP2 (C, E) reveal that Fas2 expression is present in 100% of aCC and RP2 neurons in both genetic backgrounds. Fas2 expression can be better appreciated in panels with the green channel alone (D,F). a, aCC; R, RP2.

      Fig. S2. unc-5 levels are unaffected in eve, grn double mutants. (A,B) unc-5 mRNA expression was examined in glia of Stage 15 eve/+ (A) or eve/eve; grn /grn (B) mutant embryos. Anterior is up, dorsal is right and in situ signal shows unc-5 mRNA in magenta. Glial expression of unc-5 remains unchanged in eve, grn mutants (B) compared with eve heterozygous (A) embryos.

New funding scheme supports sustainable events

Read & Publish participation continues to grow
