Mean values and standard deviations (s.d.) of the number of Eve-positive hemisegments are shown for pbl11D homozygous embryos and pbl11D homozygotes expressing RacV12, RacN17 or Rho1V14 in the mesoderm using twi::Gal4 (n=number of embryos examined). The number of Eve-positive hemisegments between pbl11D mutant and pbl11D mutant embryo expressing either of the Rac1 mutant forms was significantly different (Student's t-test; P=3.46783E-11 for Rac1V12 and P=4.83543E-06 for Rac1N17).
